The Wayfinder Score: How We Rate Casinos, Sportsbooks & More
The five dimensions
Licensing & trust
Verifiable licenses and their scope, regulatory standing and enforcement history, corporate ownership and the age of the brand. Weighted heaviest: everything else is worthless without it.
Bonuses & value
Offer size weighted against wagering requirements, game weighting, maximum bet and win rules, expiry windows and real cash value.
Payout speed
Withdrawal methods, minimums, published processing windows and fees, tracked by payment rail.
Selection & odds
Game count, live dealer and exclusive titles for casinos; market depth, odds pricing and bet types for sportsbooks.
Player experience
Apps (App Store and Google Play ratings), site speed, support channels and the quality of responsible gambling tools.
Wayfinder Score
The Wayfinder Score is our proprietary rating: five weighted dimensions, scored 1–10 each, combined into a single number displayed on every review with a rating label, Excellent, Very Good, Good or Fair.
Every dimension is scored on the same 0–10 scale as the final Wayfinder Score, so a dimension score and the overall number are directly comparable.

Wayfinder Verified
The Wayfinder Verified badge marks platforms whose licensing, bonus terms and payment details we have confirmed against the operator's own published information, and re-checked on a rolling schedule. It is not a marketing badge: it is granted from our data records, and it is removed if verification lapses.

What the scores mean
9.0–10 · Excellent
A category leader with no significant weaknesses.
8.0–8.9 · Very Good
A strong choice with minor trade-offs.
7.0–7.9 · Good
Solid overall, but beaten on at least one dimension by higher-rated rivals.
Below 7.0 · Fair
Usable, with meaningful caveats worth reading before you sign up, we rarely review platforms that score below 6.
Where our data comes from
Operator terms and conditions, regulator licensee registers, published app-store data, payment-provider documentation and the operators' own support materials. Anything we can't verify is left off the page, we never guess at numbers.
How often we update
Every review is backed by a dated data record. Bonus terms, availability and payout windows change most often and are re-checked on a rolling monthly schedule; scores are adjusted when something material changes.
Independence & funding
Casino Wayfinder is advertising-supported: we may earn commissions from links. Editorial decisions are made independently of commercial deals: sponsors cannot buy scores, placements or review language.
