WOW Vegas

WOW Vegas is a US sweepstakes casino that uses virtual coins in place of cash stakes. How the model works and where it is restricted.

US sweepstakes model, not a gambling licence

This brand is not licensed in the markets we cover (or only in part of them), so it has no Wayfinder Score. If you play there, you do not get the protections a local licence brings: limits, self-exclusion and a regulator to complain to.

How it works

WOW Vegas launched in 2022 and follows the sweepstakes pattern: players buy WOW Coins, which have no cash value, and receive Sweepstakes Coins as a bonus. Sweepstakes Coins won in games can be redeemed for cash prizes after identity checks. The lobby is built almost entirely on slots.

It is heavily promoted through celebrity endorsements and daily coin giveaways.

Where it stands

WOW Vegas holds no gambling licence in the markets we cover (US, UK, Ireland, Spain, Germany, Portugal, South Africa and Ontario). More US states have moved to ban or restrict sweepstakes casinos, and the list of excluded states changes. It is not open to residents of the UK or Europe.

Check the site's current state list before buying coins.

What to know

It plays like a slot site, and coin purchases add up quickly. The safeguards a licensed casino must provide are missing: no state-mandated limits, no statewide self-exclusion and no gaming regulator to complain to.

We do not score sweepstakes sites.
