Licence and background

TonyBet dates from 2009, when the Lithuanian poker player and businessman Antanas Guoga, known as Tony G, took over the bookmaker Omnibet. It changed hands in 2016 and has since expanded under local licences. In Spain it runs at tonybet.es under the DGOJ, and in Ontario it is registered and operates under iGaming Ontario.

Each country has its own site and account.

What you get

A sportsbook with plenty of markets on football, basketball, hockey and tennis, live betting, and a casino with slots and live tables. Basketball coverage is a strength, a legacy of the brand's Baltic roots.

Offers and payment methods differ between the Spanish and Ontario sites.

Our take

A capable mid-sized operator. It does the basics well without matching the depth or the app polish of the market leaders.
