Stake.us
Stake.us is the American sweepstakes version of the crypto casino Stake. How the model works and where it is restricted.
US sweepstakes model, not a gambling licence
This brand is not licensed in the markets we cover (or only in part of them), so it has no Wayfinder Score. If you play there, you do not get the protections a local licence brings: limits, self-exclusion and a regulator to complain to.

How it works
Stake.us opened in 2022 to bring the Stake brand to American players without a gaming licence. Players use Gold Coins, which have no cash value, and receive Stake Cash as a bonus that can be redeemed for prizes. The lobby carries the in-house games Stake is known for, such as Plinko and Crash, plus slots.
Coins are bought with cryptocurrency or card.
Where it stands
Stake.us holds no gambling licence in the markets we cover (US, UK, Ireland, Spain, Germany, Portugal, South Africa and Ontario). It has faced lawsuits and regulatory action in several states, and the list of states where it is unavailable has grown. The international site Stake.com does not accept US customers.
Check the current state list before buying coins.
What to know
The fast in-house games make it easy to play through coins quickly. The safeguards a licensed casino must provide are missing: no state-mandated limits, no statewide self-exclusion and no gaming regulator to complain to.
We do not score sweepstakes sites.
