Sportzino
Sportzino is a US sweepstakes site that pairs sports picks with casino games using virtual coins. How it works and where it is restricted.
US sweepstakes model, not a gambling licence
This brand is not licensed in the markets we cover (or only in part of them), so it has no Wayfinder Score. If you play there, you do not get the protections a local licence brings: limits, self-exclusion and a regulator to complain to.

How it works
Sportzino applies the sweepstakes model to sports. Users make picks on real fixtures and play slots with coins that have no cash value, and receive sweeps coins as a bonus that can be redeemed for cash prizes. The result looks much like a sportsbook, offered in states where sports betting is not legal.
Prices are set by the site and are not comparable with a licensed book.
Where it stands
Sportzino holds no gambling licence in the markets we cover (US, UK, Ireland, Spain, Germany, Portugal, South Africa and Ontario). Regulators in several states have challenged sweepstakes sports products in particular, and the list of excluded states changes.
It is not open to residents of the UK or Europe.
What to know
If you live in a state with legal sports betting, a licensed sportsbook gives you regulated odds, state-backed self-exclusion and a regulator to complain to. None of that applies here.
We do not score sweepstakes sites.
