The brand
Rei do Pitaco began as a daily fantasy game built around Brazilian football and later added sports betting and casino under the federal licensing regime. It operated on a .bet.br address, the domain reserved for authorised companies.
It never operated outside Brazil.
What happened
In late September 2026 the Brazilian government issued a provisional measure banning online betting. Sites on .bet.br addresses went offline from early October and now show a government notice.
The measure still has to be voted on by Congress and is being challenged in court, so the position may change.
