PokerBet
PokerBet is a South African site with sports betting, casino games and online poker. What it offers and what to check before you deposit.
South African site; check the provincial register
This brand is not licensed in the markets we cover (or only in part of them), so it has no Wayfinder Score. If you play there, you do not get the protections a local licence brings: limits, self-exclusion and a regulator to complain to.

The brand
PokerBet runs on a South African address with accounts in rand. Alongside sports betting and slots it offers peer-to-peer poker, which is unusual for a local site.
It is promoted mainly through social media and affiliate pages.
Licence status
A legal South African betting site holds a licence from a provincial gambling board, and the board, licence number and company name should appear in the footer. We have not been able to confirm PokerBet's licence details ourselves.
Check the licence number against the register of the board named on the site.
What to know
If the licence details are missing or do not match the board's register, do not deposit.
We do not link to or score a brand until we can confirm its status ourselves.
