PKR

PKR was a well-known 3D poker room that closed in 2017. The site now using the name holds no licence we could confirm in our markets.

Not licensed in the markets we cover

This brand is not licensed in the markets we cover (or only in part of them), so it has no Wayfinder Score. If you play there, you do not get the protections a local licence brings: limits, self-exclusion and a regulator to complain to.

The brand

PKR was a British poker room that opened in 2006 and stood out for its three-dimensional tables and avatars. The company collapsed in 2017, the room closed, and players' balances were later paid by PokerStars.

A new service now runs at pkr.com, and it does not necessarily have anything to do with the original company.

Licence status

We could not confirm a licence for the current site in the markets we cover (US, UK, Ireland, Spain, Germany, Portugal, South Africa and Ontario). In Great Britain, a legal poker site shows its Gambling Commission account number at the foot of the page.

Without a local licence there is no self-exclusion scheme and no dispute body to turn to.

What to know

Do not rely on the old reputation. Check who runs the site today and under which licence.

We do not link to or score a brand until we can confirm its status ourselves.
