Global Poker
Global Poker is a US sweepstakes poker room from the company behind Chumba Casino. How the model works and where it is restricted.
US sweepstakes model, not a gambling licence
This brand is not licensed in the markets we cover (or only in part of them), so it has no Wayfinder Score. If you play there, you do not get the protections a local licence brings: limits, self-exclusion and a regulator to complain to.

How it works
Global Poker applies the sweepstakes model to poker. Tables run in Gold Coins, which have no cash value, or in Sweeps Coins, which arrive as a free bonus with coin purchases and can be redeemed for cash. There are Hold'em and Omaha cash tables, tournaments and some casino-style games.
The structure lets the room operate in US states where real-money online poker is not regulated.
Where it stands
Global Poker holds no gambling licence in the markets we cover (US, UK, Ireland, Spain, Germany, Portugal, South Africa and Ontario). Several states have restricted sweepstakes gaming, and the operator has withdrawn from some of them. It is not open to residents of the UK or Europe.
Identity is verified before any prize is redeemed.
What to know
Player numbers are decent for a US-only room, and the standard of play is soft. The trade-off is the absence of a gaming regulator: no state-mandated limits and no formal dispute route. Check the current list of excluded states before buying coins.
We do not score sweepstakes sites.
