Fortune Coins
Fortune Coins is a US and Canadian sweepstakes casino that uses virtual coins in place of cash stakes. How it works and where it is restricted.
US sweepstakes model, not a gambling licence
This brand is not licensed in the markets we cover (or only in part of them), so it has no Wayfinder Score. If you play there, you do not get the protections a local licence brings: limits, self-exclusion and a regulator to complain to.

How it works
Fortune Coins launched in 2022 and follows the sweepstakes pattern: players buy Gold Coins, which have no cash value, and receive Fortune Coins as a bonus. Fortune Coins won in games can be redeemed for cash prizes after identity checks. Alongside slots it offers arcade-style fish games.
Free coins are handed out daily and through social media.
Where it stands
Fortune Coins holds no gambling licence in the markets we cover (US, UK, Ireland, Spain, Germany, Portugal, South Africa and Ontario). More US states have moved to ban or restrict sweepstakes casinos, and it is not offered in Ontario. It is not open to residents of the UK or Europe.
Check the site's current list of excluded states and provinces before buying coins.
What to know
It plays like a slot site, and coin purchases add up quickly. The safeguards a licensed casino must provide are missing.
We do not score sweepstakes sites.
