Licence and background
Fanatics built its name selling licensed sports apparel. It entered betting in 2023 and grew quickly by buying the US business of the Australian bookmaker PointsBet. The sportsbook is licensed state by state, and you must be physically inside a legal state to place a bet.
Online casino is offered in only a few states, and the minimum age is 21 in most of them.
What you get
The app is simple, with the main US leagues, same-game parlays and live betting. Its distinguishing feature is FanCash: a percentage of what you stake comes back as credit that can be spent on merchandise or converted into bonus bets. The rate has typically been higher on parlays than on straight bets.
The product is built for the phone first, and the app is where new features appear.
Our take
Worth a look if you already shop with Fanatics, because FanCash has real value there. The betting menu is narrower than at FanDuel or DraftKings, and prices on props are less consistent. As elsewhere, rewards that favour parlays also favour the house.
