Elite Competitions
Elite Competitions runs online prize draws for cars, cash and tech. How the draws work, what they cost and how they are regulated.
UK prize competition operator, not a gambling licence
This brand is not licensed in the markets we cover (or only in part of them), so it has no Wayfinder Score. If you play there, you do not get the protections a local licence brings: limits, self-exclusion and a regulator to complain to.

How it works
Elite Competitions sells a limited number of low-priced tickets for each prize and picks the winner in a draw streamed live. Alongside the main draws it runs instant-win competitions, where some ticket numbers carry a prize the moment they are bought.
Social media does most of the marketing, with winners' handovers filmed and shared.
How it is regulated
Because there is a free postal entry route, these are prize draws and not lotteries under British law, so no Gambling Commission licence is required. The company holds no gambling licence in the markets we cover (US, UK, Ireland, Spain, Germany, Portugal, South Africa and Ontario).
A voluntary code of practice now covers the larger prize draw operators.
What to know
Low ticket prices make it easy to spend more than you meant to, and instant-win games play much like scratchcards. GAMSTOP does not cover prize draws.
We do not score prize competition operators.
