How it works
ClubWPT Gold launched in 2025 as the sweepstakes version of the World Poker Tour online offer. Players sit at cash tables and tournaments using coins with no cash value, and receive sweeps coins as a bonus that can be redeemed for cash prizes after identity checks.
It follows the older ClubWPT subscription site, which worked on a different model.
Where it stands
ClubWPT Gold holds no gambling licence in the markets we cover (US, UK, Ireland, Spain, Germany, Portugal, South Africa and Ontario). Several US states have moved against sweepstakes gaming, and the list of excluded states changes. It is not open to residents of the UK or Europe.

What to know
