Licence and background
Betsson traces its history to a Swedish slot machine business founded in 1963 and has been online since the early 2000s. The group owns several brands, including Betsafe, NordicBet and Rizk. On our market list the Betsson brand is licensed in Spain, and elsewhere the group holds national licences across the Nordics, the Baltics and Latin America. In Ontario it trades as Betsafe.
It does not operate in Great Britain or the US under the Betsson name.
