1xBet
1xBet is a global betting brand with a patchy regulatory record. It is licensed in Spain but not in the UK or the US. What you should know.
Licensed locally in Spain only; unlicensed in our other markets
This brand is not licensed in the markets we cover (or only in part of them), so it has no Wayfinder Score. If you play there, you do not get the protections a local licence brings: limits, self-exclusion and a regulator to complain to.

One name, different operations
1xBet runs a large international site on a Curaçao licence and a handful of separate local operations under national licences. Spain is one of those: the .es site is licensed by the DGOJ and follows Spanish rules on verification, limits and bonuses. The international .com site is not licensed in the markets we cover (US, UK, Ireland, Spain, Germany, Portugal, South Africa and Ontario).
The brand is best known for football sponsorships and for a very large number of betting markets.
A record worth knowing
1xBet left the British market in 2019 after reporting on how the brand was being advertised, and it has been blocked or blacklisted in several countries since. France does not authorise it. None of that affects the Spanish-licensed site directly, but it explains why you should check which version you are on.
A regulator's public register is the only reliable test.
What we recommend
If you are in Spain, use only the .es domain. Elsewhere on our market list, treat 1xBet as unlicensed: no local self-exclusion, no local complaints route and no certainty of being paid. We do not link to the international site or score it.
